Attaching Pictures Using MySpace Upload Picture Codes

MySpace is one of the most popular, and one of the largest, online social networking websites in the world that allows people to use MySpace upload picture codes to share photographs. It gives people the opportunity to create their own personalized profiles and share them through blogs and networks within the MySpace system. .

The Upload Tool

Describing yourself through an online profile does require more than just words. Since Myspace makes it possible to upload pictures, it is just appropriate that they provide users an easy way to do so. And this is exactly what they have done with their upload tool that allows people to put pictures of themselves on the site from their local computers. Basically, MySpace allows users to store their pictures onto their site. This is neither burdensome nor difficult but there are disadvantages.

The first disadvantage is that the space allotted to each user for pictures is actually limited and there is a certain size limit that you have to follow so that the picture will be successfully uploaded. The second disadvantage is that you cannot set your profile to display multiple pictures on the front page of your MySpace account.

The Alternative

There is a way to go around the limitations that MySpace has set for its users and with a little HTML knowledge you can do a whole lot with your profile. First of all, you will need to find a site that will host or park your pictures. Some popular sites are Flickr and Photo Bucket. What you want to do is open accounts with those storage providers and upload all your pictures into those accounts. With basic HTML, you can actually mirror those images onto the front page of your MySpace profile. This is a great way for you to add more pictures to your online blog on MySpace without having to go beyond the limit that the site has set for its users.

Text

For some, simple text links that will lead them to where your pictures are parked will suffice. You will have to provide some sort of description of course. So before providing the link, say something that people should expect if they click onto the link. It can be as simple as the following sample:

If you want to check out pictures of my party, check out [INSERT THE LINK TO THE PICTURES HERE].

All you have to do is replace the capitalized text with the actual link of the site where you parked your party pictures.

Embed

The other way is to use MySPace upload picture codes that are HTML-based and have the pictures that you parked somewhere else to display on the front page of your profile. All you have to do is make use of the following code:

<style type="text/css"><img src="http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a172/username/sample.gif"></style>

That is what the link will look like if you use Photo Bucket and all you have to do is just replace the italicized link with your actual link. Use that code in any text area of your MySPace profile and the image that is parked in Photo Bucket will appear where you place the code. For some services, you may not even need to use the <style> tags anymore but it’s safer to use them so that they work properly.

MySpace is a fun online community to be on. You can make the experience even more fun if you make your profile look hip and nice to look at. Embedding pictures or linking to them will definitely help get more people interested in who you are. And you can do this by using the MySpace tools or MySpace upload picture codes.
