Upload Your Home
Pictures
As much as it is the typical American dream to own a home,
we sometimes have to sell it because we either have bought a
new one or because we need some cash and the only way to have
it is to let the home go. And you may want to sell it
online.
But then it occurs to you that potential buyers will need
pictures of the home they will be spending their money to get.
So, you get stuck with ‘what do I do now?’ Ok, dear don’t
despair yet. Help is here.
How do you go about uploading pictures of your home to
facilitate the sales process? There are a few things you have
to do to make it work and worthwhile.
Get the Right Pictures: It is no use uploading a picture of
your home if it is the wrong picture. It only makes it harder
for you. So, what should you do? Basically, a potential buyer
online needs to see the same things that your offline buyer
wanted to see as well. So, get pictures of the front of the
house, the sides and back of the house, the rooms (showing how
wide and airy they are), pavements, home background and other
details that may be relevant.
Choose a Picture Hosting Site: Next, you will want to look
for a site to host your home’s picture on. There are quite a
few online, including Ofoto, Funtigo, Webshots, etc. Picture
hosting sites provide quite a few features that you may find
very useful when it comes to showing off your home on
cyberspace.
However, if you are planning on doing the actual selling of
your home online, the site on whose platform you are selling
the home from should provide you with capabilities of uploading
pictures and even videos of your home. Ebay, for example,
allows you to upload both pictures and videos of the home you
are selling.
Upload the Pictures: Once you have decided on a site to
upload your home’s pictures onto, follow the instructions for
uploading it. Make sure that any picture you upload, you also
make a brief comment of it. This makes it more interactive
since they won’t be there physically.
Most times you can upload as many pictures of your home as you
want. Ebay doesn’t mind a few dozens. But make sure that every
picture you put online adds to the quality of the whole album
of your home. Don’t upload mediocre pictures that have no value
at all.
