Using a MySpace Upload Picture
Code
A MySpace upload picture code allows you to
upload your photos and other images directly to your MySpace
page. It seems like every body on the planet has a
MySpace page these days, and there are many my space
"generators" to help personalize your page and make it
unique.
Uploading pictures is just one of the many features
available to customize your MySpace page. But the problem
is, most people are not computer programmers, or even technical
"geeks." So how do the rest of us take advantage of the
great MySpace generators available?
Fortunately, there are a lot of great sites on the Web that
can assist you in creating upload picture codes and other cool
generators to "pimp" your MySpace page. Many of these
sites provide free image hosting for your MySpace, FaceBook and
even eBay pages. The procedure to upload images to the
sites and receive your convenient code for using the photo on
your MySpace page could not be easier.
Take for example a web site like imagecross.com.
Imagecross provides free hosting for your MySpace or FaceBook
pictures, and it's simple to use. The user only has to
click the browse button on the Imagecross homepage, and then
select the location on their computer where the picture is
located.
If you're having trouble locating a picture on your
computer, always check "my pictures" under the "my documents"
folder. Usually, a Windows computer will save photos and
other images to the "my pictures" folder by default, so you are
very likely to find the image you are looking for there.
If, however, you do not find your photo under "my pictures," be
sure to check your desktop, as this is another common place for
random photos or images to wind up.
Now back to uploading your image to use on MySpace: after
selecting your photo with the Imagecross.com browser, you will
see the name of the photo file appear just above the gray
"upload" button. Simply press this button to upload your
picture and store it online in this location. Once your
picture is successfully uploaded on Imagecross.com, you will
receive a simple code to insert the photo on your MySpace
page. Alternatively, you can also select a code to allow
you to use your picture on FaceBook, eBay, various Internet
forums and chat rooms, and even in your personal e-mail.
Most image hosting sites will allow pictures as large as 2.5
MBs, while some will allow photos up to 10 MBs. Once your
picture is properly uploaded and hosted online, you can use the
upload picture code in many different ways, not just on your
Myspace page. For example, people who sell items on eBay
can take a picture of the item and upload it a free image
hosting site, allowing them to then use the upload picture code
to insert a picture of the item on that eBay auction page.
Of course, there are many other free image hosting sites
online, and they are normally quite easy to find with a quick
search on Google or Yahoo.com. These sites will host your
photos online, allowing you to obtain an upload picture
code to be used on MySpace and many other places
online.
